Ulemu Subster Chapota , better known by his stage name Lem Vee is a Malawian hip hop recording artist under Live Love Life Entertainment, founder of Doveraven Africa and works in hand in hand with S U Records producer Janta.
Lem vee started his music journey some time around 2009 but he was never a recording artist. As kid who grew up in the capital city of Malawi Lilongwe, Hip-hop has been a huge part of his life by being highly influenced by Mpho Lais aka Prophency 1. His rap career is mostly inspired by the domestic surrounding and one of the most greatest forces to mankind, imagination. International artists like 50 Cent, Ludacris and Eminem have played a very big part in his musical journey. Locally David kalilani,Lawi & Marcus have done their part in a very unforgettable way.
He recorded his first single in 2013 with Big Ta titled Kill em'off which was produced by AK and Janta and the song got its first air play on Galaxy FM. Lem is now working on a EP called "HALLUCINATION" which is expected to drop in December this year.The Ep is set to carry 6 songs including a bonus track making it 7. In this EP he has worked with both local and international artists like Lord Hvnny Phoenix (Uk),Episodz,KYC,Big Ta,D-O- Dub,Merchant 1,Sticky Stacks,Uniq Mill and Joe Boi.
The songs are based in different categories making the EP a must have. Holy Grave,I'm Up,Lost Heart and Dreaming are some of the songs in the Ep. Patuka which features Big Ta,KYC and Episodez has enjoyed massive air play on 101. FM airtel pa gowelo show. Thats just a sign of how the EP will take a place of its own when it drops.
