V2M is a Malawian rapper based in Mzuzu, he is one of those sensational artists you cant afford to sideline. Malawi is blessed to have a rapper like him.
V2M also known as Swaggah B started rapping in 2009 after being inspired by internationally recognized rapper T.I and Young Kay on the local scene. His love for writing pushed him to the musical walls after his poems made an impression on many people around him.
His journey has been a nice one just because he has worked with wonderful producers in the north, the likes of Thin Dinius of drumsounds studios in Karonga,Mr Manzey of Sound Systems and Dj Kenlo of Supersounds in Mzuzu who is currently producing Swaggah B`s upcoming mixtape titled Rap Game.
The mixtape will carry 8 songs and 6 of the songs have already been recorded, this mixtape is to be released early April. In this mixtape the rapper has worked with artists like Kenlo on ndiwe song, Tchizo on timatha song, Mark N on chikondi song, Wakisa James on my valentine song, Flava Maurie on Ulipo wekha song and says he`s ready to work with any artist provided that they take music seriously.
Speaking on the current status of Malawian urban music, V2M urges his fellow artists countrywide to work together and atleast kill that jelous within so that the industry can be seen to be moving forward to compete with other countries worldwide. To his fellow artists in Mzuzu he said he would love it to see them working extra harder as he can see a bunch of some hot talent in the city.
To his fans he promises them something big in the upcoming mixtape and other 2015 projects like his first video which will be shot and released as soon as possible. He said Joe films will be the magic hands working on his video which is lined up for shooting this coming February.
